We head out with Capt. Terry Nugent of Riptide Charters aboard his 35T Contender in search of schooling Bluefin Tuna south of Martha's Vineyard. During this trip, the tuna were heavily keyed in on large oceanic sand eels. We imparted a 7-rod trolling spread featuring Sand Eel Imitating 40inch Flexi-Bars, Green Machine Bars, Machine Daisy Chains and Splash Bird Bars. Each kit features the exact same components and rigging featured in our 30inch Flexi-Bar Spreader Bar Series.   1) ATTACH PRE-CUT 200LB TEST 28″ FLANK LINES For simplicity’s sake we included pre-cut 28″ flank lines. Attach flank lines to bar. We use 200lb test for the spreader bar, so that will require the 1.9mm Crimp we included. Use the the 1.9mm hole on crimpers that match the crimp diameter, and squeeze crimpers all the way close....
