Got these dressed up hooks to replace the trebles on the metal sand eel jigs for sea bass. Been working pretty good so far, hope the bucktail teaser stays on

I had an Atom Lure that was ancient. I decided to refit the lure with hook and split rings. I Turned it Around, stripped out yhe old hardware, wrapped it in a Squid pattern Jigskinz and shrank it tight. I put the 7266 4X 4/0 inline single bicktail hook where the line used to be tied to and made ab awesome, indestructible squid lure out of it. Striped bass, bluefish, school tuna.

I am catching a lot of stripers with your clear popper. Many times the back hook foul hooks the fish. I’m hoping to minimize that with a single tail hook. Also, lost a popper to a giant bluefish this morning. Guess they are in and I’m going to have to go to steel leaders.

Change out some treble hooks, especially the belly hook on my top water plugs for stripers, blues, whatever. I fish w a lot of kids and beginners and these are safer. Love the flash too
