30-Day Return Policy

We aim for your complete satisfaction with every purchase. If you're not fully satisfied, you can return any item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided it adheres to the criteria and exceptions outlined below:

Condition: Items must be in new condition, unused, and fit for resale.

Packaging: All original tags and packaging must be intact and attached as received.

Return Shipping:

The customer is responsible for return shipping fees and any package insurance.

No Return Authorization Required: While a return authorization number is not needed, please include your order number with the returned product(s).

Recommendation: We strongly recommend insuring the return package and obtaining a tracking number. We are not responsible for lost returns or damage during transit.

Product Guarantee: 

We pride ourselves on producing the best lures in the industry. We stand behind our products and guarantee them against manufacturing defects. If you feel that you have received a defective product, please reach out to us for assistance and return instructions at info@hogylures.com. Original proof of purchase from an authorized dealer is required for any product claims.

Soft Baits, Trolling Lures, Jigs, Epoxy Lures, Rigging, etc. are consumable fishing products designed to be used in a marine environment. Wear and tear due to normal conditions such as teeth, rocks, oysters, fins, salt, impact with t-tops, using lures to life fish, modification, neglect causing saltwater corrosion and user error is considered normal wear and tear and will not qualify for refund or exchange

Items purchased that were previously used or otherwise from non-authorized private sellers such as items purchased on eBay do not qualify for warranty. Items without proof of purchase will not be processed for return. Product concerns must be made within 30 days after purchase and may be replaced or refunded at the discretion of Hogy Lure Company staff.

Order Adjustments

Once an order is placed, we cannot add items to the order.  Please note that all orders will be shipped as placed.  Additional items cannot be added to an order once it is completed.

Incorrect Shipping Address:  PLEASE ensure the proper shipping address is used before placing your order. If you provide the wrong shipping address when placing your order, you are responsible for re-routing the package appropriately.  Hogy Lure Company is not responsible financially or physically for packages sent to the provided address, even if it's not your intended destination. 

Damaged or Lost Items

For All Items Except Fishing Rods:

  • Accept delivery of any package, even if the packaging is visibly damaged.
  • Immediately inspect the condition of all products inside the package to ensure they are intact and complete.
  • If any item (excluding the packaging) is found to be damaged to the extent that it cannot serve its intended purpose, you are advised to take photographs of the damaged item. These photographs should be sent promptly to the customer service (CS) department for review and further action.

For Fishing Rods Specifically:

If the Rod is Obviously Broken Upon Delivery Attempt:

  • Deny acceptance of the rod.
  • Request the carrier to mark the package for return to the sender due to the visible damage.
If the Rod Tube Shows Slight Damage:
  • Accept the package despite the damage to the rod tube.
  • Open the package immediately to inspect the fishing rod's condition.
  • If the rod inside is broken, take photographs of the damaged rod.

Email the photos to the CS department for necessary actions to be taken to address the issue.

Defective, Damaged, Or Incorrect Products

We understand that accidents can occur, leading to the arrival of defective, damaged, or incorrect products. In such cases, we urge you to contact our Customer Service Department immediately. Here’s how we address these issues:

Replacement: We will promptly send you a replacement for the affected item(s).

Prepaid Return Label: To facilitate the return of the defective item, we will provide you with a prepaid return label.

Return Window: Please ensure that the product(s) are returned to us within 30 days from receipt.

Damages During Shipping: If you suspect the damage was caused by the shipping courier, please accept the package but contact us right away. We will guide you on the next steps to rectify the situation.

Order Cancellations

Immediate Action: Calling us as soon as possible increases the likelihood that we can cancel your order before it ships.

Email Cancellations: Please be aware that attempting to cancel an order via email may not be effective, as the order could ship before your email is processed.

Returns for Shipped Orders: If your order ships before cancellation is possible, you can return the shipped item(s) for a full refund.

Refunds & Credits

Once we receive and process your returned item(s), we will initiate a refund to the original payment method used for the purchase (e.g., Credit Card, PayPal). Here are the details of our refund process:

Refund Amount: The refund will include the original purchase price minus any shipping charges.

Confirmation: You will receive an email notification confirming the receipt of your return and the issuance of your refund.

Processing Time: Please allow 5-7 days for the refund to be reflected in your account.
