great setup for targeting toothy creatures. i recently used a flutter jig targeting tuna in florida and ended up catching a stud kingfish!!

These have become my go-to teasers for black sea bass jigging (commercial rod & reel) in the 3/0 and 4/0 sizes. I catch more fish on the teasers than on the jigs themselves, without fail. Yesterday we hit the 250 lb daily limit in about 5 hours of fishing, and probably 75% of my catch were on these teasers.
The only reason I have to give them a 4 star rating instead of 5 is that I've had the knots at the swivel or the clip fail multiple times, costing me expensive jigs and fish. I now take the time to re-tie those knots because it's become clear that I can't trust them, but I really shouldn't have to do that. Fix that issue with better knots at the swivel and clip and you'll have perfection.
By the way, I like to fish them above the 6" Hogy Sand Eel Jig, usually in Albie Crack color (chartreuse & white). I do add a couple 3/0 stinger hooks to the jig as well, but that jig has been doing well for me this year. Paired with these teasers, you have a killer combo!
