The Pre-Rigged Pro Tail Series was designed with big game inshore anglers in mind. Featuring a specialized blend of tough, yet flexible soft plastic, professionally molded around the VMC Barbarian Jig Hooks. UV infused soft plastic blend increases visibility in low light conditions.

Slowtail Swimbaits

The Slowtail is the most underrated lure in the Hogy system and the code breaker for guides who need a subtle option when everything else fails. Twin tails flutter at zero speed — on the fall, on the drift, on the slowest crawl. Pre-rigged in three sizes: 3.5” (¾ oz), 4.5” (1 oz), and 5.5” (1¼ oz) with labeled chin weights for instant selection. The Pop N’ Fly is the technique that solves the micro-bait problem. Popper (hooks removed) delivers casting distance and surface commotion. The 3” Protail Fly trailing 18” behind delivers the micro profile that picky fish are actually eating. Pop, pause, let the fly dance, and wait for the popper to disappear.
