The striped bass migration has hit Cape Cod waters! Capt. Mike Hogan heads out on Buzzards Bay aboard his 28' Contender in search of schoolie striped bass. Capt. Mike demonstrates how to catch finicky striped bass on light tackle using the Hogy Slowtails with a cast and drop retrieve!

Tips:

1. Cast towards sipping fish, close reel bail, allow bait to sink while paying close attention to the line for signs of a light tap.

2. After lure drops through strike zone, slowly reel towards surface.

3. Repeat the drop method, allowing the lure to sink on a tight line while looking for any signs of a bite on the drop.
