Deepwater Swimbaits For Stripers Holding In RipsApproach To Swinging Swimbaits In Rips:

1. Cast up current of location where stripers are holding in the rip.

2. Allow the swimbait to sink to the bottom.

3. Begin a slow, steady retrieve allowing the bait to naturally swim with the current.

4. Impart occasional pauses to allow the bait to drop. Many strikes occur on the drop or first crank after a pause!
