The Hogy Long Range Popper:

Features the same body design as the Hogy Classic Popper but includes advanced weighting plates affixed towards the rear belly section, adding almost .75 oz of casting weight. This modification allows the lure to launch significantly further than the floating version. The extra weight also provides stability in rougher conditions, enabling usage in seas typically too rough for standard poppers. The lure requires a steady retrieve with imparted pops, creating a side-to-side swimming action.
