    Going for Halibut, Skrej, Seawolf, Coal-fish and Redfish

    The fish love the liveliness of the tails and I trust the robust and strong hooked jig heads from Hogy

    Big fish lure

    I’m using the Slappy eel rigged on a jig head. I fish the Chesapeake bay and it’s tributaries for Stripers. It has big fish appeal and is versatile. Rigged on different weight jigs you can fish it from 5 to 80 ft. I got my first bag about two weeks ago and it has already accounted for several huge Strippers I’ve ordered two more bags. My only complaint is the absence of a hook slot to allow you to rig it with a weightless hook, that’s my reason for the 4 stars instead of 5

    Love the Slappy’s

    Slappy’s are one of my go to baits when keeper fish move in I fish them in all conditions and find them very effective in the shallow waters I fish
