Catches mackerel, which almost seems surprising given how bulky the rig is. Not particularly fancy, but simple and effective. Nice, tough hooks and tubing hold up well after multiple catches, as does the pretty thick mono for mackerel. The swivel and snap are bigger than necessary, but I suppose the bigger snap does make the rig easier to use with bulkier lead weights. I prefer using jigs to get my sabiki down, which doesn't require nearly as large of a snap. Overall, pretty good mackerel rig.
