A slow, predictable glide with just enough tail shimmy to look alive. That restraint is the entire point. When fish are pressured, spooked, feeding on slender bait in dead-calm water, or hunting by feel at night, the Needlefish is the plug that matches their mood. It shares the same internal ballast system as the Surface Eraser — belly always down, turns flat on the cast, precision balance from nose to tail. Two sizes cover every sand eel and spearing scenario from estuaries to the open surf.

• Internal Ballast System: Same architecture as the Surface Eraser. Belly stays down, turns flat in flight, and maintains orientation on every retrieve speed. This system gives the Needlefish its signature controlled tail-wag and clean shimmy on the drop — the subtle motion that separates it from dead-stick needle designs.
• Through-Wire Construction: Full through-wire from nose to tail. Night fishing for large stripers around boulders and in heavy surf demands hardware that doesn’t fail. The Needlefish is built for the biggest fish in the worst conditions.

• Still Needle — The Primary Retrieve:

The Needlefish glides with barely perceptible motion — just the tail-end shimmy from the ballast system and the bucktail flag’s micro-pulse.
