    amazing plug - very versatile

    After years as a boater, I’m finally back to surfcasting, and the Hogy OG Swimmer has become my go-to for large stripers in the rocky surf. This plug has an unbelievable wobble on a steady crank—slower and more pronounced than an SP style action, which really seems to trigger the big fish in dark conditions. It throws great on my 9-foot MH with a Van Staal VS 200, making it easy to cover a lot of ground along the shoreline. Solid plug all around, and definitely a staple in my surf bag now.
