    Draws them out!

    The action on this lure brings stripers in from seemingly no where! This thing is borderline sorcery. And the best part is it’s beginner friendly so guests can easily hook into the action with those addicting top water blow up strikes. Pro tip: fish it all the way to the boat.

    Xl plug for xl fish!

    I was extremely excited when HOGY announced the XL Dog Walker. I love throwing big plugs knowing it will typically draw the biggest fish of the school. I’ve done several striped bass trips already with them and found them very user friendly for my clients. Extremely easy to get the ever so deadly walk the dog retrieve going. I also like the treble closer to the head which allowed me to remove the rear treble and still maintain a great hook up ratio. Fishing the single forward treble not only causes less damage to the fish but also makes for much safer handling boat side.
